| 内容記述 | This paper examines the current situation of the airlines connecting East Asia. In recent years, airlines all over the world have changed significantly owing to the development of Open Skies and the rise of low-cost carriers. Although these changes are gradually occuring in East Asia, little research has been done regarding the current situation, and statistical data about airfare levels are somewhat lacking. This is the first study to investigate cross-border airfare levels in the East Asia region. An overview of the passenger flow shows high activity. The airfare-based investigation described here indicates that the airlines in this region are only beginning to change and suggests that they will develop uniquely owing to the special conditions of the market. It is likely that we will see dramatic changes in the future. | |||||||||||
