| 内容記述 | Japan's rapid economic growth started from the middle of the 1950s and many new factories were built everywhere. ln the 1960s the land for industrial use was running short and vast areas of the foreshore were reclaimed for factory sites in Japan. The Hiroshima prefectural government planned to create land for industria1 use and filled in part of Hiroshima Port. Its eastem part was developed as an area for large enterprises. Its westem part， which was later named Dejima， was developed as an area for small and medium-sized enterprises. This paper investigates the process of the foundation of the Dejima Industria1 Estate for small and mediumsized enterprises using the official documents on the reclamation of Dejima. |
